Since its opening in 1867, Amstel Hotel, Amsterdam is the most prestigious hotel in the city, and probably in the whole of the Netherlands.

Originally, hotel owner Samuel Sarphati had planned a much larger building, with two additional U-shaped wings.
However, the new wings were never built, and the Amstel Hotel remained relatively small, as designed by architect Cornelis Outshoorn in the first phase of construction, with just 55 rooms and 24 suites.
Today, it's a top choice if you want to spend a few days in Amsterdam. You'll be right in the center of town, with easy access to the surrounding area. You'll have a great vacation in right in the center of Amsterdam.
Modern, luxurious decor
Today, it's a beautiful, luxurious establishment, quietly situated on the banks of the Amstel River. Its interior is decorated with Italian marble, in warm, sumptuous and formal colors.
The establishment welcomes visitors, and you'll be guided through the day by the receptionist.

The Amstel Hotel boasts five stars, while its La Rive restaurant currently holds two of the rarest stars in the Michelin Restaurant Guide.
The cuisine is excellent, with French Mediterranean dishes interpreted in an original and modern way by chef Edwin Kats. Wine cellar of over 3,000 bottles will even suggest wines to match the food.
A dress code is enforced on site. The facility also features:
