Walibi boasts a large collection of spectacular roller coasters ranging from merry-go-rounds to roller coasters. It also offers themed attractions that will delight you and your children, an unforgettable thrill.
Slagharen
Slagharen Theme Park and Resort was opened in 1963. It is about a 2-hour drive from Amsterdam. Slagharen boasts over 30 attractions and 4 water rides, and you can also ride a roller coaster.
You can stay overnight and continue the fun the next day. There's something for everyone in this park. So it's the perfect place for young and old alike!
The Amsterdam dungeon
This is one of the most famous amusement parks in the Netherlands. It's a fun place, especially for children. There are many things to discover on site.
The Amsterdam dungeon is open daily and takes approximately 80 minutes to visit. What's more, admission is free for the little ones.
Most of the shows in the dungeon are in total darkness. The actors are almost invisible. However, you'll soon get used to the darkness and be able to enjoy all the performances here!
Amusement park in Amsterdam: Duinrell theme park
Duinrell theme park is an amusement park located a few kilometers from Amsterdam. Its mascot is Rock the Frog. It was opened in 1935 and welcomes visitors from April 16 to October 30.
The venue offers more than 40 attractions. You can ride roller coasters, toboggans, swings, trampolines and many other attractions.
If you're looking for a place to take your kids for a day of fun, this is the perfect place. If you're a water lover, you'd love to splash and slide on one of the biggest toboggans in the country.
The Tiki pool, with its 16 special slides, is sure to please.
The Duinrell amusement park has several bungalows near Wassenaar beach called Duingalows. These bungalows are ideal for families with children or groups of friends.
You can then stay longer in this unique place, alternating between all the attractions on offer!
Drievliet amusement park
Drievliet is the perfect theme park for the whole family. There are plenty of family attractions, children's activities, roller coasters, a fairytale forest, magic shows, a miniature world and splendid rides that will have you flying through the air and twirling faster than you can imagine.
Drievliet is perfect if you want to spend your vacation outside Amsterdam. However, it's only a few kilometers from this magnificent city. What's more, you can then set off to discover The Hague.
Amsterdam amusement park: Sprookjeswonderland
Located north of Amsterdam, Spookjeswonderland is particularly focused on fairy tales. You'll find fairy-tale dolls and moving houses. It was opened in 1973 and its opening season is between March-October and December-January.
The best time to visit is in June, when your children can spend a day experiencing the thrills of this unique European venue. It's also popular for its famous miniature attractions for children.
