In the evening, 1,200 bulbs illuminate the deck with a magical light. After sunset, the lights reflect magnificently on the Amstel River, adding a new dimension to the bridge. an even more romantic atmosphere!

How do I get to the Magere Brug in Amsterdam?
The Magere Brug is located in the center of Amsterdam and crosses the river Amstel. It links Kerkstraat to Nieuwe Kerkstraat.
You can get there on foot. The walk from the central station takes about 25 minutes if you walk slowly.
You can also get there by streetcar. Thanks to public transport, you reach the small bridge in 20 minutes.
From the main station, take streetcars 51, 53 and 54 to the "Waterlooplein" stop.
