The Sugarfactory
On Sundays, many locals and well-informed tourists flock to the Wicked Jazz Sounds at the Sugarfactory, near Leidseplein.
The venue plays great music and exudes a party atmosphere. A combination of DJs and musicians take to the stage, where jazz meets dance.

Nightclub in Amsterdam: Œdipus
Œdipus in Amsterdam Noord is a superb brewery that also happens to be a great place to party on Sundays.
The brewery offers a few draught beers and a space for dancing. On Sundays, you can listen to Catch Red Light Radio's Liquid Jams, where you can take part in live music, all to the hushed sound of jazz.
Spend your evening at Winston Kingdom
To get your week off to a good start, attend Winston Kingdom's drum'n'bass event every Monday.
The event also features DJ evenings where international guests and budding local stars perform.
Arrive early to get free entry before 10pm and make the most of your Monday night. You'll be sure to dance the night away!
Amsterdam nightclub: experience Techno Tuesday inside Melkweg
Spice up the start of the week by celebrating with locals and visitors on Techno Tuesdays at Melkweg.
Amsterdam is one of the best places in Europe to party to the sound of techno music. DJs provide an environment where the love of music transcends the party scene.
Club NI
Head to ClubNI on Wednesdays if you're in the mood for electro music. You'll find underground house and Tech house created by local DJs.
It's a cool space and a great place to spend a Wednesday night. On site, you'll find plenty of locals out to party in the middle of the week.
Amsterdam nightclub: dance the night away at Paradiso
Paradiso is the place to be a must for Amsterdam nightclub-goers. Thursday evening is Noodlanding night.
From indie to electro, hip-hop to pop, Noodlanding is the best way to start your weekend early.
Club Paradiso is one of the city's oldest nightclubs. It's an incredible party experience thanks to its unique setting. The club is located inside a former Gothic church.
Club Escape
Club Escape is another great place to go on Thursdays. The place is considered one of Amsterdam's must-see clubs.
This party venue attracts a huge crowd on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The club offers eclectic music.
The Shelter
Shelter is located in the north of Amsterdam. You'll find the club in the basement of the former Shell Tower. This location lends it a mysterious, underground ambience.
The club is set in a large concrete room, and there's just enough light to see the person next to you. DJs play a mix of house and techno all night long.

OT301 is a multi-storey building that used to be a squat and which is now used as a creative space.
There's an underground nightclub that hosts party nights organized by Subbacultcha. On Thursdays, you'll find trendy music and a hipster crowd.
