The escape, for 80's fans!
- Address: Rembrandtplein 11, 1017 CT Amsterdam
- Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
- Transport: the tramway 24 and buses N82, N83 and N88 (Muntplein stop) are the closest to Escape.
Escape presentation
The escape is a trendy boxa favorite with fans of 80s/90s pop music. The space is vast, and the screens and lighting give the place a very festive atmosphere. The clientele is varied, ranging from party-going students to more laid-back 30-somethings.
Please note that entry controls are quite strict and that you need to dress appropriately and control your arrival, so you don't turn back sooner than planned.

Somewhere between a music club and a nightclub, the establishment offers a wide variety of programming to satisfy music lovers of all styles.
Prices are very reasonable and you can attend live concertsoften followed by DJ sets. It's a great way to dance the night away in the company of Amstellodammers, mainly! You can grab an early drink, grab a bite to eat and wait patiently until the music starts!
Bitterzoet, for lively theme evenings
- Address: Spuistraat 2 HS, 1012 TS Amsterdam

Introducing Bitterzoet
From Thursday evening, the Bitterzoet becomes a nightclub very popular Amsterdam, with a wide variety of programming: hip hop, reggae, electro, American pop, rock and punk, depending on the evening.
There can be a lot of people - regulars and tourists passing through - and I advise you to come and see for yourself. in good time so you don't have to wait too long outside.
Disco Dolly, Pop and students

Disco Dolly is a fairly small, two-storey venue that attracts a good number of young people and 30-somethings on its liveliest nights. We are a little crampedBut if you like human warmth, you'll feel right at home in this nightclub.
The bouncers are quite strict at the entrance, so it's best to look your best. For music, it's pop, R&B and commercial hip-hop in priority. Calling all enthusiasts!
Club NL, for Electro fans

- Opening hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10pm to 3pm
- Public transport: by streetcar, line 2 or 12, Paleisstraat stop
Introducing Club NL
The Club NL is a 2-minute walk from the Amsterdam Royal Palaceand it's an elegant club, with a very chic atmosphere. You'll see it on the outfits worn by a wealthy clientele, which will delight those who like to dance in a certain refinement.
You have to appreciate electro/house musicwhich makes up the bulk of the programming. What's more, you can smoke indoors, which will please some and be a turn-off for others.

You must have 18 years old to enter nightclubs in Amsterdam, and to consume alcohol. Rules to which we are accustomed, and which are scrupulously enforced in the city.

Can you get turned down at a nightclub in Amsterdam?
Yes, and we can even say that the selection is quite drastic in the busiest clubs and nightclubs.

Is smoking allowed in Amsterdam nightclubs?
It depends on the nightclub. In most, it is NO SMOKING but some offer smoking areas. In some establishments, it is possible to smoke weed but not tobacco...!
