This is Holland: a sensory experience to discover the Netherlands in a different way
During your stay in Amsterdamyou may have the opportunity to take a few excursions outside the city (with I Amsterdam Card), to take part in a cruise to discover the canals and browse in the parks for a taste of the local flora and fauna.
But impossible to discover the whole country on a short stay! And there's the perfect solution: This is Holland !
Introducing This Is Holland
This is a flight simulator which allows you to visit the Netherlands, to familiarize yourself with its culture and traditions, for a sensational experience.
The idea is to take you across the country, from the skyA 5D flight simulator that combines images, sounds, seat movements, smells and wind sensations, for total immersion.
Sitting comfortably in their seats, participants (young and old alike) will think they're birds as they fly over the sky. Amsterdam canalsover tulip fields and windmills, skimming the Wadden Sea and almost touching Dutch soil.
The business offers a real change of sceneryA trip within a trip, with a complete activity not limited to the flying experience. Let me explain!
What does the ticket for This is Holland include?
With your ticket, you get your entrance for the flight simulator, but also access to all the shows on offer.
The site is designed to be both educational and fun, and the visit is divided into 3 stages:
- The show A land under the searevisits the history and foundation of the Netherlands, and the constraints faced by its inhabitants. A bird's eye view of the country's windmills and dikes.
- Visit the country on a Flying in a planewhich will take you through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Netherlands. Learn more about the geography of this beautiful country!
- 5D FlightThis is Holland, the heart of the attraction, for 10 minutes of total immersion! This is Holland has obtained permission from the government and Unesco to capture the rarest and most awe-inspiring images, and bring them to the audience.
The various rooms include information to help you learn more. The installation itself uses state-of-the-art technology to offer visitors an unforgettable show.

How do I get to This is Holland in Amsterdam?
The experiment can be found at the following address: Overhoeksplein 51, 1031 KS, Amsterdam
It's in the North zone of the city, which you can easily reach with this solution:
- Take the ferry from Amsterdam Central Station to stop Buiksloterweg (4 min approx.). Then all you have to do is walk for about 5 minutes! And it's free!

Here's what you need to know to enjoy this experience with ease!
Price and booking
- Adult ticket (over 13): 23 euros
- Children's ticket (4 to 12 years): 19 euros
- Children under 4 are not allowed
You'll need to book online to get a place, as they're all snapped up due to the attraction's popularity. You choose the date and time of your visit, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
You'll receive your tickets immediately on your mobile devices, so all you have to do is present them at the entrance.
Opening hours
The site is open every day from 10 am to 6/7 pm depending on the period.
Allow around 1 hour for the complete experience, including shows and flight! Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of your reservation.
Practical information
Please note that most information is provided in English and/or Dutch. It's a good idea to have some basic knowledge of the language, to get the most out of your visit.
