This is why<strong>\u00a0the best time to visit would be mid-April.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You should also be aware that the weather can change quite rapidly. So you'll need to take along waterproof clothing and shoes that can stand up to the rain. Visit the capital during this period and you'll be hard pressed to miss the many tulip displays throughout the city, especially in the most touristy areas and around the main museums.<\/p>\n<p>Floating flowerbeds from the fountain in front of the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/rijksmuseum\/\">Rijksmuseum<\/a> to the planters scattered around the city, it's easy to enjoy the tulips. <strong>walking around and soaking it all in.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc161954122\"><\/a><strong>The Zwarte Tulp museum in Lisse<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The second most famous tulip museum in the Netherlands is located in the town of Lisse, close to the Keukenhof gardens.<\/p>\n<p>Located right in the heart of the historic town, you can learn all about tulip growing in the region, as well as the history, techniques and culture of the tulips that have since become so synonymous with Lisse.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc161954123\"><\/a><strong>Tulips in Amsterdam: spend a day at Keukenhof<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Often dubbed \"the garden of Europe\", there's perhaps no better way to celebrate spring or to get ready for a new year. <strong>to enjoy the best of Dutch tulips than to visit the Keukenhof gardens.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Easy to visit on a day trip from Amsterdam, this is a place I recommend you see.<\/p>\n<p>Nearby, in the fields surrounding Lisse, are numerous fields of hyacinths and striped tulips, but it's important to note that the Keukenhof entrance ticket does not include access to the neighboring fields.<\/p>\n<p>If you wish, you will find <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/tulip-gardens-amsterdam\/\">a complete article on the Keukenhof gardens<\/a> on Bonjour Amsterdam.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to enjoy the tulips during your stay in Amsterdam, I suggest you follow my recommendations.
