A single ticket is called a \"one-hour ticket\", <strong>costs \u20ac3.20<\/strong> and can be used for up to an hour, as long as you remember to check in and check out, no matter how long your journey lasts within that hour.<\/p>\n<p>If you plan to use only public transport, this option can quickly become expensive.<\/p>\n<p>Other options are available depending on the number of days you wish to stay. Unlimited tickets can <strong>be purchased for one day up to 7 days.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Affordable tickets for your visit<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>What's more, these tickets are generally affordable. For one day, they cost just 8 euros. If you'd like to take out an unlimited ticket for seven days, <strong>you will be charged \u20ac36.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Children under 4 travel free. Children aged 4 to 11 benefit from a substantial discount on their ticket. Please note that only a one-hour ticket can be purchased directly from the driver on the streetcar or bus.<\/p>\n<p>In the bus, streetcar or metro, you must validate your ticket at the entrance and check it before leaving the transport. You must do this every time you use public transport.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc138854182\"><\/a><strong>Amsterdam transport: take the streetcar<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/tramway-amsterdam\/\">tramways<\/a> cross the city from north to south, east to west. Streetcars are the most common means of transport in Amsterdam, and very easy to spot. Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/amsterdam-metro\/\">metro<\/a> also crosses the entire city, and the stations are always located at the busiest spots, making them easy to find. How to use them, <strong>you must validate your ticket at the station entrance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc138854184\"><\/a><strong>Transport in Amsterdam: the bus<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The city also offers a large number of <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/bus-amsterdam\/\">bus<\/a> and it's an excellent option for reaching places not covered by streetcar or metro. Some hotels offer this service. It's worth asking your concierge.
