You can start at <strong>National monument on Dam Square<\/strong>Then take a stroll through the city and explore its picturesque canals, houses and bridges.<\/p>\n<p>If you're traveling with your partner, you can visit the very romantic canal belt. If you walk around the center, you'll see many churches and museums. In addition to Anne Frank's house, there are three very famous museums not to be missed.<\/p>\n<p>Those of you with an interest in art should not miss the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/rijksmuseum\/\">Rijksmuseum<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/van-gogh-museum\/\">Van Gogh museum<\/a>. Others looking for entertainment and an interactive experience should visit the Nemo Museum.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc140456604\"><\/a><strong>Amsterdam free tour: a walking tour of Amsterdam<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To discover the true nature of the city, I recommend an alternative walking tour of Amsterdam, where you can enjoy the unique character of this place.<\/p>\n<p>You'll be pleasantly surprised by the street art. In some parts of the city, people live by the \"live and let live\" rule. You'll find stores and museums with marijuana products, sex shops and much more.<\/p>\n<p>My advice is to go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/moco-museum\/\">Modern Contemporary Museum<\/a> and take a look at the spectacular Banksy exhibition. After a full day's walking, there are also plenty of famous caf\u00e9s worth a visit when you want to take a break.<\/p>\n<p>Don't be confused when you enter the caf\u00e9 by the strange smell and dim lighting. These places are notorious for openly selling <strong>marijuana products.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc140456605\"><\/a><strong>A tour of the red light district<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Many people want to visit Amsterdam, especially because of the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/red-light-district-2\/\">red-light district<\/a>. It's a unique place, celebrating one of the oldest trades. A place where people go to enjoy some of their guilty pleasures.<\/p>\n<p>You can find prostitutes working there on the streets, in brothels, sex theaters and much more. To find out about the \"behind-the-scenes\" history and current situation of this place, you need to visit the Prostitute Information Center, where <strong>to get all the information you need.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some of the other unique sites you can see here are the Condomerie, the Old Church and the Warmoestraat. If you're interested, you can catch a live show at the iconic Casa Rosso theater, which has been in existence since 1969.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc140456606\"><\/a><strong>Amsterdam free tour: a host of entertainment venues<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>If the red light district isn't entertaining enough for you, there are plenty of other places to have fun in Amsterdam. Have you ever been to a floating animal shelter? You can experience your first time at the Catboat.<\/p>\n<p>If you prefer to stay on the ground, you can visit the Madurodam miniature village. In the evening, I suggest you try minigolf, an exceptional activity to experience Amsterdam.<\/p>\n<p>It's not hard to see a lot on your Amsterdam trip.
