So you can stroll around and explore the historic old town with its narrow streets and crooked houses.<\/p>\n<p>The Canal Suite is tastefully decorated and located in a charming Amsterdam canal house, a true retreat in the middle of the canal belt. Simply perfect for a relaxing city break.<\/p>\n<p>Just a few meters from your front door, the historic Blauwbrug crosses the Amstel River. The Leidseplein street of pubs and restaurants is just 15 minutes away.<\/p>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/vondelpark\/\">Vondelpark<\/a> offers relaxation and <strong>well-deserved rest after the hustle and bustle of the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc140801094\"><\/a><strong>Apartment on a houseboat: a taste of authenticity in Amsterdam<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>You can enjoy a <strong>apartment on a barge at a fair price.<\/strong> This boat has room for two two-person apartments.<\/p>\n<p>The comfortable rooms are equipped with all amenities: toiletries, microwave, coffee maker and electric kettle. The location is super quiet and relaxing.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, everything is within walking distance. Markets, caf\u00e9s and restaurants are just around the corner.<\/p>\n<p>The trendy De Pijp district with Albert Cuypmarkt, Sarphatipark and <strong>numerous bars, restaurants and stores right next to your pier.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc140801095\"><\/a><strong>How do I book apartments in Amsterdam?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The apartments are particularly <strong>attractive for families with children, couples with or without pets, and small groups.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Because you can cook your own meals, vacation apartments are an inexpensive alternative to hotels.<\/p>\n<p>Generally speaking, the more people, the cheaper. In fact, you can divide the price per night by the number of people. Don't forget to include maintenance services too.<\/p>\n<p>This is almost always billed separately. Depending on the size of the apartment, <strong>cleaning costs between 50 and 150 euros.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Pay attention to location<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The closer you are to the center, the more expensive it is. Amsterdam has a great metro system and superb bicycle paths. So stay a little outside the city and put your money into a nicer apartment.<\/p>\n<p>In private apartments, don't expect too much. Apartments with dishwashers are usually a little more expensive. Some <strong>even offer bicycles free of charge.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Taking your family's safety into account <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Safety comes first. If you have a baby with you, you need to make sure there are no freely accessible stairs. Baby chair and cot <strong>almost always available on request<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Make sure there is a <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/amsterdam-metro\/\">metro<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/bus-amsterdam\/\">bus<\/a> near your apartment. Usually, the distance to the nearest stop is indicated in the apartment description.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Respect the maximum number of people<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>It's tempting to let a friend sleep on the sofa for free. But we strongly advise against accommodating more people than the owner allows.<\/p>\n<p>You may think that owners don't notice, but they do. <strong>most of them pay particular attention to it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pay attention to the shopping possibilities in the vicinity. With most apartments, this shouldn't be a problem. Amsterdam has supermarkets and specialty stores on every corner.<\/p>\n<p>To make the most of your stay in Amsterdam, I recommend you book an apartment that will take you in for the duration of your vacation.
