They spent two years in this hiding place, where they were joined by <strong>four other people<\/strong>before being arrested on August 4, 1944 and deported to the Auschwitz concentration camp.<\/p>\n<p>Otto Frank was the only person to return from the death camp, and it was he who found <strong>the little notebook<\/strong> in which his daughter recounted her daily life.
