In Amsterdam, you can. Made by French artisan baker S\u00e9bastien Roturier, it is <strong>a specialty of his hometown, Fontenay-le-Comte in Vend\u00e9e.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He moved to the Netherlands in 2007 with his Dutch wife Susan, and has been wowing the town ever since. Other specialties include cannel\u00e9es de Bordeaux, madeleines and chocolate macaroons.<\/p>\n<p>The bakery is renowned for its traditional homemade French bread, prepared with the highest quality ingredients and no artificial colorings or seasonings. Try the gevulde speculaas, a crumbly cookie with an almond filling that's a real delicacy. <strong>goes perfectly with a cappuccino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Each branch serves freshly baked pastries, such as croissants and pains au chocolat, as well as melting meringues and macaroons. I recommend you try all these treats with a fresh coffee to go.<\/p>\n<p>STACH also has shelves full of imported drinks and is one of the few places in Amsterdam that stocks Club Mate, <strong>Berlin's favorite soda.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc142561497\"><\/a><strong>De Laatste Kruimel<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>De Laatste Kruimel (the last crumb in Dutch) is probably the best place in Amsterdam for a quick lunch. Freshly baked quiches, tarts and cakes <strong>will seduce you with their superb flavours.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Desserts include apple pie and bread pudding. For lunch, you can find sandwiches and savory pastries. You can buy takeaway, but De Laatste Kruimel also has a relaxing dining area.<\/p>\n<p>The attraction lies in the terrace, which gives you a view of a <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/canals-amsterdam\/\">narrow canal in central Amsterdam<\/a> while you sip your cappuccino.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc142561498\"><\/a><strong>Bakery in Amsterdam: Bakhuys<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Everyone loves Bakhuys' open-plan layout. It's fascinating to see the bakers busy preparing bread and pastries. <strong>while having breakfast or lunch at the caf\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here you'll find a wide range of international recipes. So you end up with a treat the size of small plates. These are filled with glutinous sugar syrup, honey or coffee-caramel.<\/p>\n<p>So sit back in the charming tearoom and enjoy yours with a cup of coffee. I bet you <strong>you'll be sure to come back for a visit during your stay!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc142561500\"><\/a><strong>Bakery in Amsterdam: the Hartog<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Hartog's has been serving homemade bread in Amsterdam since 1896. You can be sure of finding some of the best bread in the city here. The grain is ground daily in a dedicated mill, and there's a real factory for the dough, which is kneaded on site.<\/p>\n<p>The store <strong>opens at 7 a.m.<\/strong>. That's when the first customers turn up for the delicious bread.<\/p>\n<p>Hartog's uses only whole grains for its products. <strong>a unique, slightly sweet taste and a crispy crust.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc142561501\"><\/a><strong>The Ugga<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The trendy <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/de-pijp\/\">De Pijp<\/a> is packed with caf\u00e9s, Korean restaurants and tacos.
