After all, it's certainly one of the most popular things to do in Amsterdam at night.<\/p>\n<p>Once it gets dark, the red window lights and neon signs of adult stores <strong>illuminate the streets and give it a festive atmosphere. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During your stay, you can spend time on the canals, admiring the shop windows or visiting one of the quirky stores or museums in the area.<\/p>\n<p>However, I suggest you refrain from going there after 1am, <strong>because the mood changes around this time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc143242481\"><\/a><strong>Where to go out in Amsterdam: visit a museum<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>If you'd like to get your cultural fix in the evening, the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/van-gogh-museum\/\">Van Gogh museum<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/stedelijk-museum\/\">Stedelijk Museum<\/a> open until 9 p.m. on Fridays.<\/p>\n<p>The Eye Film Museum opens until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. These night-time hours are only available during the summer months. However, there's even more to do in Amsterdam at night if you're visiting in November, <strong>it's Museum Night<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc143242482\"><\/a><strong>Discover Amsterdam's nightlife<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Amsterdam's nightlife is incredible. There are so many clubs and bars in Amsterdam that you can <strong>really find one that suits you. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Amsterdam's nightlife atmosphere is quite different from place to place, mainly due to the eclectic crowds it attracts.<\/p>\n<p>It's a pretty unique mix of people, but it leads to <strong>an interesting dynamic in Amsterdam at night.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you go to the tourist areas, Leidseplein or Rembrandtplein, you're bound to find clubs full of tourists and quite noisy. This is where Amsterdam's artistic and creative side really shines.<\/p>\n<p>The canals throughout the city are lit up by amazing light structures created by local artists.<\/p>\n<p>If you visit the city from November to February, this is an outing I recommend. During the four months of <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/amsterdam-winter\/\">Amsterdam winter<\/a>The canals come alive with art exhibitions by artists from all over the world. Each year has a different theme.<\/p>\n<p>You can attend Amsterdam's Festival of Lights for free by bike or by car. <strong>by walking around the town to find all the different facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc143242484\"><\/a><strong>Getting to the top of the A'dam tower<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>At night, the tower is undoubtedly more beautiful than during the day! You'll soon be amazed by the views from the rooftops.<\/p>\n<p>What's even better is that after 9 p.m., you can <strong>free access to the top of the A'dam tower<\/strong>. It's a little secret that many people don't know.<\/p>\n<p>There's plenty to do in Amsterdam at night.
