These exhibits range from stuffed animals to works of art and peculiar oddities, offering visitors <strong>a unique insight into strange and astonishing aspects of the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some of the most remarkable exhibits include a replica of a triceratops skeleton, a shrunken human head, a giant spider's web and a robot made up of over 100,000 parts. The strip quickly became a huge success, published in over 300 newspapers.<\/p>\n<p>In 1933, Ripley opened his first \"Odditorium\" in Chicago, where he exhibited his collection of curiosities and oddities to the public. The company grew and <strong>began publishing books, television programs and films.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2004, Ripley Entertainment, the company behind Ripley's, was acquired by the Jim Pattison Group, one of Canada's largest privately-owned companies.
