It's one of the oldest in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Established in 1638, it was used as a garden to supply medicinal herbs to pharmacists and physicians. With its network of vast greenhouses and tropical hothouses, there's a lot to see here.<\/p>\n<p>Among the most majestic installations are the brick and glass \"Palmenkas\" from the early 20th century, home to imposing palms, ficus and cinnamon trees, <strong>are truly impressive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What's more, the setting is magnificently romantic. Just the thing for a romantic afternoon in a plant-filled setting.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc144024717\"><\/a><strong>Amsterdam Tulip Museum<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Right next to the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/maison-anne-frank\/\">Anne Frank Museum<\/a>On the Prinsengracht, you'll find the Amsterdam Tulip Museum, a small, perfectly-formed window on the city. <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjouramsterdam.fr\/en\/tulip-museum-amsterdam\/\">the history and importance of the tulip in Dutch culture<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring photographic exhibits illustrating the bewildering variety of tulip species, as well as more in-depth information on the history and painstaking process of tulip cultivation that continues.<\/p>\n<p>Even today, you'll find answers to any questions you might still have about the town's flower production here.
