For them, the body transformed into a work of art remains human.<\/p>\n<p>Although none of the plastinates, not even the full-body ones, are presented with intact skin, the creators <strong>have nevertheless left key signs of their humanity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They left the skin intact all around:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eyebrows<\/li>\n<li>Eyes<\/li>\n<li>Nostrils<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ears are whole and the lips remain. This inevitably leads the viewer to think of them as human beings.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc145583541\"><\/a><strong>Museum of the human body in Amsterdam: an educational tour<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>You can inspect all their exposed body parts, including :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The muscles<\/li>\n<li>The joints<\/li>\n<li>The digestive or respiratory system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sometimes, separate body parts are exposed. For example, <strong>you can find a room full of heart<\/strong>.
