Stores in Amsterdam: Negen Straatjes
Located in the heart of the city's historic canal district, the Negen Straatjes (nine narrow streets) was built in the 17th century.
The Negen Straatjes cross the main canals between Leidsestraat and the Jordaan district and are dotted with great restaurants, cafés, art galleries, jewelry stores, boutiques and vintage stores.
With an exceptional range of styles, trends and prices, this region is truly a shopper's paradise.
PC Hooftstraat
Head to the museum district for luxury shopping. PC Hooftstraat is Amsterdam's most exclusive shopping street, with brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, DKNY, Mulberry, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and many others.
Continue along Van Baerlestraat for brands such as Vanilia, Gant and Miss Sixty. Famous Dutch designers such as lingerie guru Marlies Dekkers have boutiques in Cornelis Schuytstraat.
Bijkenkorf
Overlooking Dam Square and home to a wide selection of high-end brands, De Bijenkorf is one of Amsterdam's best-known department stores.
Located in an impressive historic building just behind Dam Square, Magna Plaza is a collection of boutiques from Mango to Sissy Boy.

The two main shopping streets in downtown Amsterdam are Kalverstraat and Leidsestraat. Of the two, Leidsestraat is home to the most exclusive boutiques, including Filippa K, Karen Millen, Paul Warmer and Shoebaloo.
Kalverstraat is home to all the stores you'd expect to find in a major European city. Here you'll find H&M, Zara, Esprit, Urban Outfitters, Pull & Bear and UNIQLO.
Spiegelkwartier
Following the construction of the Rijksmuseum In 1900, the Spiegelkwartier became Amsterdam's place for antiques and art. More than 70 antique stores and galleries in the area present impressive collections of tribal and Asian paintings, ceramics, glass, jewelry, furniture and collectibles.
Whether it's a hundred years old or completely modern, you're bound to find something here you like.
Haarlemmerdijk and Haarlemmerstraat
Haarlemmerdijk is a long, trendy shopping street running east-west towards Amsterdam Central Station. It's a lively place where you'll find everything from shoes, independent brands and second-hand clothes to specialty foods, Dutch home furnishings and collectibles.

Utrechtsestraat is a little shopping paradise at the eastern end of Amsterdam's canal belt. Starting at Frederiksplein to the south and heading north towards Rembrandtplein, this charming street is packed with trendy concept stores, fashion boutiques, interior design stores and one of Amsterdam's best record stores.
Beethovenstraat
Less busy than other shopping areas, Beethovenstraat is a wide street offering fashion, perfumeries and high-end patisseries. Located in the chic Zuid district in Amsterdam, it's the ideal place to shop for luxury goods at a more leisurely pace.

This lakeside fashion mall in nearby Lelystad is home to over 250 fashion brands, cafés and restaurants.
Bargain hunters flock here in search of top brands and discounted products. That's right, you can find discounts from 30 to 70 % on articles by prestigious Dutch and international designers.
A shuttle bus runs directly from Amsterdam city center to Batavia Stad, departing from the bus de Ruijterkade East - Amsterdam River Cruise Port. The bus leaves at 10 a.m. and returns at 4 p.m. Return tickets cost €5 per person.
